Job description
As one of the fastest-growing providers of in-home healthcare, we combine world-class clinical standards with operational excellence and modern technology. Families trust us because we respond quickly, advocate for caregivers, and operate with integrity and reliability. We believe people receiving care at home deserve dignified, self-determined lives — and that caregivers are heroes whose work must be supported and fairly compensated. Our mission is driven by empowerment, accuracy, and speed.
As Head of Finance, you serve as the senior-most accounting expert for our Swiss operations, reporting directly to the CFO. You will build, operate, and scale a best-in-class accounting function that accelerates our growth while maintaining rigorous controls.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations & Consolidation
Lead and own the end-to-end accounting landscape for all Swiss legal entities. Build and execute standardized, automated closing processes that deliver Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS consolidated results faster each cycle. Eliminate manual bottlenecks through intelligent workflows and intercompany automation. Establish and continuously strengthen a robust internal control framework aligned with PCAOB-level expectations.
Technical Accounting & Regulatory Compliance
Interpret and apply accounting standards to new business models and transactions with speed and precision. Ensure full compliance with Swiss statutory requirements (OR accounting, tax, VAT, regulatory filings) while optimizing for efficiency. Manage annual audits through flawless preparation, proactive auditor management, and data-driven documentation. Provide authoritative technical guidance on revenue recognition, leases, capitalization, cross-border matters, and group reporting topics.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Build and lead a high-performing team of 10+ accounting professionals, attracting and developing top talent. Create a culture of ownership, analytical rigor, and relentless improvement. Drive continuous upskilling through hands-on mentorship, clear career pathways, and performance coaching. Scale team capacity as the business grows while maintaining exceptional quality.
Systems, Processes & Automation
Architect and continuously optimize our financial technology stack, from ERP to closing tools and automation platforms. Drive process reengineering to eliminate waste and accelerate key workflows. Partner with IT and the CFO to enhance ERP functionality, master data quality, and financial data structures. Implement and scale RPA, automation, and AI-powered controls to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase speed.
Financial Reporting & Strategic Enablement
Deliver precise, decision-ready financial reporting to senior leadership with decreasing cycle times. Translate accounting outcomes into actionable business insights that inform strategic decisions. Support board reporting, special projects, and analytical deep dives as we scale. Build self-service analytics and dashboards that empower business leaders with real-time financial visibility.
